Ali welding works on a saturday

after having repaired my mothers mercedes benz 280 sl, i found the time to continue on those many r2 parts, i still must build or finish...

yesterday afternoon i could finish another ali battery box, that i had started some weeks ago. but i wasn´t very concentrated and i built another left one instead of a right one. 

so again i had to start a fourth one...and a fifth and a sixth...and so on...

 

luckily my skills and experiences in building them are growing from part to part, so that i am pretty fast now.

but it takes a lot of time anyway!  

 

Ali battery boxes

Once not paid attention, i made three left Ali battery boxes, but only one right Box (not on Pic):

 

New sheets

i got a big bunch of new parts and don´t find the time to bend, weld and grind them...

Down under

 a friend needed some horseshoes, the shims and a Set of Booster rockets.

Luckily i could help him...here already packed..

the right one is ready and packed, the left one needs another layer of grey primer...

for that i got two sets of first class cnc´ed ali horseshoes:
