Progress on the new costume

the new costume is getting closer and closer to the finish line!

the last days were unfortunately without any progress, thanx to the xmas days. family first, you know?!

but now, the enterprise is still closed for vacation, i take a day off  (instead of cleaning, repairing, maintaining rooms and machines, etc.) to get some more work done on the chrometrooper costume!

i glued the first leg part after cutting it into the right shape for my leg/knee area.

therfore i used the german pattex kraftkleber. applying the glue onto both surfaces of the foam, waiting approximately 10 minutes and the press the two surfaces on each other.

wearing a black sport suit under the costume, i quickly found out, that some of the measurements i made in the past, weren´t that good as expected. two lower leg parts have to be rebuilt. so making a new template for them is on the agenda too!!
