Carpet and workbench

we used an industrial carpet. cheap (2 euros the square meter) but good enough for a rough treatment.

here you can see him already laid out on the wooden floor and cut:

Above the workbench you can see additional storage space.

White walls

after a second run of sanding the walls, they got a first coat of a "blue milk" coat.

this is against moisture and for a better grip of the later added wall colour.

next is the carpet.

Hard week or what can be done on one day...

i had a really hard week. 70 hours of hard work on seven days. so no free weekend this week.
but i could realize a lot of work in my new room.

here are some pics to it:

the walls got some plaster onto their gaps...

and of course i had to sand them after the plaster was dry.

after this i bought some new material for the floor construction.

my son helped me a lot that weekend...

The freshly built Floor construction:

here we added some insolation material to the wooden floor construction...

and later that day we already could screw the wooden panels onto the construction...

the entrance area needed a ramp. so we added some concrete to it:

my neighbour cut the multiplex panels into two 1,70 m long pieces.

we bought a cheap dark grey industrial carpet for the floor and some white paint and a chemical fixer for the walls.

for having enough place, my neighbour cut me two 1,70 m long and 40 cm deep panels from a red coated chipboard. these will be mount above the workbench.

maybe we will build another table panel from the remaining multiplex panel sheets...we will see...   

More Progress in the new working room

The window is at its place.

Next wete the gaps between the Wall Sheets...filling them up and sanding...

The Floor had to be done, too. A wooden ground structure...

Some isolation Material was added too...

Looking shabby and dirty because of laying around in my enterprise for years now, but will do what they have to do.

Next the Floor Panels:

The ladder was fixed too after getting a wooden rear Panel Cover.

The entrance area got a concrete ramp:

No time for assembling

i have no time for assembling the printer (only to write these few lines LOL).
the new work room in the small shed isn´t finished yet, my buddy doing the work for me, has no time at the moment. so i guess i will do this with my son this evening.
when everything is ready, the gaps between the wall elements must be fillled and sanded, when they are dry.
this takes another day.😟

when this is all done, i will take care of the floor. and when all this is done too, the window must be build in and the door must be reworked to close properly (better than before).

the final work on the walls is a paint job in white, to make this tiny room of 12 m² looking brighter and bigger.

after all this it´s time to order some square steel profiles, to build (weld) the new workbench. it will get a wooden surface and maybe an additional steel panel over it.

New room

i am waiting for the guy that will mount the used window i had for the new room for my my son and myself. the walls are almost done now, but it only can be finished, when the window is at its place.

ater i will add a new floor; the old one made of stones is not what i expect. nothing has the same level and later in winter times it will be really cold from the floor...so better build an isolation.

then we can build a workbench for the room and add the electrics. with some nice spots and a heater...better is better...LOL

3D Printer

the printer arrived.

now i have to assemble him. it is preassembled, but not everything. so they could ship it in a smaller box.

Fail

i ordered a sd card with 32 gb. that´s what i thought i had done. and i was surprised about the price... so low...
but i only ordered the adapter card for it.
anyway, now i have to look for a sd card at home...maybe i have one laying around there...

Red and white

We printed some parts again to have the same color. Here is a display of some of the BD-1 parts..

I am thinking of reprinting the remaining red parts again...

Leg parts

The first bigger leg parts were printed:

A new delivery

Luckily the new filament came last thursday.

But with some remaining rests on the spindles, we were able to continue the print of some smaller parts for BD-1.

Delayed

The filament hasn't come neither on thursday, nor on friday. And on saturday the post doesn"t deliver into the enterprises.
So we had to look on what we have left on Stock. Some small

here, some there...and what a surprise, a little more than 1 kg of filament left.

We we're back in the game...
Let's continue with some more parts...

5 kg of white filament

...that's what i ordered last Weekend. I hope to get the stuff today...i am running out of material and couldn't continue printing the parts for my droid BD-1.

Corona vacation

Unfortunately my son uses his free time for playing Play Station or Nintendo. Or he is looking YouTube Videos in his mobile or the laptop...
Due to this his sleeping times changes... He geht's up around noon or later in the afternoon.
His room is looking like a junkyard and it's smelling there like in a Puma cage in a zoo!!!
So i had a little talk with him yesterday...
Cleaning up that mess, sleeping only until 10 a.m. and no more console playing after 11 p.m..
If he don't play my rules, all his electronic gadgets will be taken away ...
